The Challenges

I trained in computer science and earned an HND, but my career took me into trade. For 7 years, I specialised in exporting raw commodities to buyers in India. While I developed strong expertise in that niche, I wanted to expand my career into broader logistics and international trade. To make that transition, I needed a deeper understanding of the full supply chain.

The Turning Point

I started looking for a proper way to build that knowledge and found Edoxi online. The Certified Supply Chain Professional course covered exactly what I needed: the full global supply chain, not just one isolated trade lane. The Learning Journey

The training was excellent. My trainer, Mr Midhun Babu, explained complex concepts clearly and consistently linked them to real-world logistics operations. What stayed with me most was a project on the documents needed to import and export goods: what they are, how to apply for them and how customs clearance works through the Dubai World Free Zone. It turned the theory into something practical I could picture myself using.

Career Breakthrough

Within a month of completing the course, I secured a job. More importantly, it gave me a foothold in the global logistics industry I had been working towards. Today, I work as a Problem Solver in the dock area of an Amazon Fulfilment Centre, where I correct waybills and verify shipping labels. What means the most to me is that I now work with Bills of Lading, customs clearance certificates, and other key import-export documents. This is the exact area I set out to enter, so even in a dock-area role, I am directly involved in the paperwork and processes that keep global trade moving.
