To register for the EmSAT (Emirates Standardised Test), follow this detailed step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Prepare Required Documents
Before starting the registration process, ensure you have the following documents ready:
- Recent personal photo.
- Grade 12 students: Certificate of study continuation approved by the school principal. This applies particularly to students repeating Grade 12 or those enrolled in British Curriculum’s Year 13.
- People of Determination: Medical, psychological and academic reports, certified by a hospital or medical centre.
- Children of female UAE Nationals: Birth certificate.
- Children of the first line of defence personnel: Fazaa card for the first line of defence employees (father or mother) and birth certificate.
- International students: Passport.
- Decree holders without Emirates ID: Any official document proving the unavailability of Emirates ID.
Note: Documents must be submitted in PDF format, with a maximum size limit of 2 MB per file.
Step 2: Create a UAE PASS Account
The UAE PASS App is essential for self-registering for the EmSAT exam. You can find it in your mobile app store.
Sign in with the UAE Pass (New Applicant)
- Download the UAE PASS App from your mobile app store.
- Fill in the Required Information (name, date of birth, and Emirates ID number, and create a user ID and password.
- Activate your account to access the student portal.
Note
- If the student's account is active, and if he/she is in grade 12 and has a registered file in the current academic year, he/she can book the test.
- If the user who has logged in already has an account on the system, he/she will be taken to the homepage shown below:
Step 3: Access the EmSAT Registration Portal
In case of not registering on the EmSAT student portal before, the user will be redirected to the registration form to fill in the required data.
Step 4: Register for the EmSAT Exam
Once logged in, proceed as follows
- Review and «declare» the following EmSAT rules and procedures.
- Select the test date, Emirate, Test Center and Test Time and then click on «submit».

Step 5: Payment of Registration Fees
The next important step is to make payments. After booking and confirming your EmSAT test date, the page will automatically take you to the payment Gateway. To make the payment successfully, follow the steps below;
- (if you are subject to payment), click on “Card” and then click on “Calculate Price”.
- After confirming the invoice fees, click on "Proceed with Payment".
- The user must enter the (credit/debit card details) and then click on "Pay Now".

Ensure you do not leave the payment page until you receive a confirmation note indicating your payment has been processed successfully.

Step 6: Confirm your payment
After successful registration and payment
- You will receive a confirmation containing your registration details including your test date and test centre.
- But if the payment is unsuccessful, then you will receive the following notification.
