Edoxi's Revit MEP Course in Dubai is a 35-hour, 12-module programme: about 25 hours in Revit and 10 in Navisworks Manage. You model HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems in turn, then document them, link them to architectural models and build your own parametric families. The course closes in Navisworks, combining every system and clearing the clashes.
Training is led by Mander G Singh, an architect who spent ten years on commercial and hospitality projects in India before joining Edoxi as a Design Technology Instructor in 2024. He has trained more than 500 professionals, including corporate teams at ACICO in Qatar and Strabag in Oman. Classes run at Edoxi's Bur Dubai centre, live online, or as a corporate programme, on Revit 2027.
The course prepares you for MEP BIM Modeller, MEP BIM Coordinator and Revit MEP Technician roles with Dubai's MEP contractors, engineering consultancies and fit-out firms. You work project by project, building the four MEP models you finish with. On completion you receive an Autodesk Authorized Training Center Certificate of Completion, issued by Edoxi.
What is Revit MEP?
Revit MEP is the set of mechanical, electrical and plumbing tools inside Autodesk Revit. Since the 2017 version, it has been sold as one product with the architecture and structure tools. Ducts, pipes, circuits and panels are connected systems, so changing a duct size or adding a fixture updates the tags, schedules and sheets. Since 1 January 2024, Dubai Municipality has required BIM submissions in the open IFC format for buildings over 20 floors or 20,000 square metres. Revit exports to IFC.
