Edoxi’s 3ds Max Course in Dubai is a 40-hour, 16-module programme that takes you from interface basics to portfolio-ready rendering. The syllabus covers polygon and spline modelling, materials and UVW mapping, lighting, keyframe animation, and AutoCAD-to-3ds-Max workflows. Rendering is taught in both V-Ray and Corona, the two most-used render engines in architectural visualisation (CGarchitect survey).
Training is led by Ghanshyam Vaghani, who spent seven years as a 3D architectural visualiser at Raghav Consultant & Architects. He has taught at Edoxi since 2018. Classes run at Edoxi’s Bur Dubai centre, live online, or as a 4–5 day corporate programme, on 3ds Max 2027. You work project by project, building towards the five-piece portfolio you graduate with.
The course prepares you for 3D Visualiser, Architectural Visualiser and Product Designer roles with Dubai’s archviz studios, property developers, interior fit-out contractors and events companies. On completion you receive an Autodesk Authorized Training Center Certificate of Completion and a KHDA Training Certificate with QR attestation.
What is 3ds Max?
Autodesk 3ds Max is a professional 3D modelling, animation and rendering software used to create detailed models, photorealistic visuals and walkthroughs. Architects, interior designers and visualisation studios — including those producing marketing visuals for Dubai's off-plan property launches — use it to turn CAD drawings into presentation-ready imagery, typically with V-Ray or Corona renderers. In CGarchitect's survey of architectural visualisation professionals, 3ds Max ranked as the most-used 3D tool, with a 59% share.
